Allow me a moment of weddingness….

Since I’m drowning in a sea of lobster bibs and Pinterest accounts full of “Mint To Be” images, allow me a moment to share some of our weddingness…

First, let’s talk about burlap. Burlap? Yup, burlap. After scouring the internet for a good source of this rustic-chic-all-the-weddings-are-having-it-fabric, I found these guys:

An entire store devoted to Burlap? You betcha. In the wedding world, nothing is “too rustic” to be awesome. My 100 yard roll of 8″ burlap ought to be arriving in 3-5 business days… woot woot!

Our wedding (in case you hadn’t picked up on it) is becoming this interesting conglomeration of rustic Maine + leftover Mexican decor + Leah’s been planning her wedding since she was 5 + it’s gonna be November. What this looks like is lots of white buildings (Maine) with burlap table runners (Leah) and ‘Papel Picado’ banners (Mexico) alongside mason jar flowerpots (also not rustic enough to not be awesome) and lobster bibs (Maine/Leah). Orrs Island Schoolhouse - Our Wedding Reception Venue

Should be fun, ya? Don’t even worry, there’ll be pictures!

And eventually, there will be sailing again too 🙂
