You know those moments when you’re just totally blown away? When something or someone takes you so completely by surprise that you have to literally stop and stand still, slack-jawed, wide-eyed, feeling entirely overwhelmed with gratitude? I had one of those moments a month ago, when I walked through the door of my parents’ house…

…and was confronted by this 4′ wide, breathtakingly *amazing* painting of Brio, done by the ever-so-talented friend of my dad’s, Laslo Feher:

Laslo created this painting from just one photograph of Brio, and added in all of the background imagery and details as if she were in BC:

I can’t even explain how awesome it is to have a full-blown masterpiece of *our* boat hanging in the living room. I smile every time I pass it 🙂
